Abstract This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of empathy training in improving students' understanding and interpersonal relationship skills at MTs Manbaul Huda. The training activity was carried out on January 20, 2025, and was attended by 23 students, consisting of 10 girls and 13 boys. Evaluation of the training's success was carried out through a pre-test and post-test covering aspects of empathy, effective communication, and social attitudes, as well as through participant feedback using a Likert scale. The results showed an increase in the average score from 55.86 in the pre-test to 69.73 in the post-test, which reflects a significant increase in students' understanding of the training material. In addition, the evaluation results showed that most participants were satisfied with the implementation of the training, both in terms of the facilitator's mastery of the material, the relevance of the material, the methods used, and the time of implementation. Thus, this training has proven effective in fostering students' empathy and interpersonal relationship skills and is worthy of being replicated in other schools as an effort to develop character and social-emotional intelligence in adolescents.
