Special Needs School (SLB) teachers face significant pedagogical and emotional challenges in assisting children with special needs, which often leads to chronic stress and burnout. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the “Managing Stress with Relaxation and a Pen” training program in improving the emotional well-being of SLB-BC teacher Nike Ardilla. The training method was designed in a participatory manner and consisted of relaxation techniques, mindfulness, and expressive writing (journaling). The training was evaluated through pre- and post-tests using stress and stress coping scales, as well as participant reactions through satisfaction questionnaires and participant observation. The pre-test results showed that the stress levels of the majority of participants were in the moderate to high category. After the training, there was a significant decrease in stress levels and an increase in emotional coping skills, especially in the aspects of emotional management and self-awareness. Evaluation of participant reactions also showed that 87.5% of participants expressed very satisfied with the quality of the training, both in terms of the material, facilitators, and delivery methods. Some suggestions for improvement include simplifying the material and increasing the duration of the practical sessions. In conclusion, this training program is effective in improving the understanding and stress management skills of special needs teachers, as well as contributing to strengthening the mental health of educators in inclusive education environments. This program is recommended for replication and adaptation in other special needs contexts as part of teacher professional development strategies.
